Yes! The nuvaring is definitely the best form of birth control I have found! I was on the Evra patch for about 5 months and as it was convenient, as soon as winter ended I started facing problems. The patch is a solid colour which does not even remotely match my skin tone. I also found the patch to be shown or felt through clothing. If you are planning on going on the patch due to the convenience of only having to remember once a week, I highly suggest the ring; it stays in for a month and is effective, discreet and comfortable.

I was on the patch for quite a while. I liked it better than the pill because I only had to remember it once a week. But every place on me I put the patch I would be itchy. It was also kind of hard for me to keep on. The edges would always start to come off and one time I actually lost it in a bathroom somewhere.
I prefer the nuvaring, love it.

I was on the patch rite after I had my little boy and I liked it. you just have to make sure you put the patch itself in a differnt spot every week. like dont put it in the same spot two weeks in a row. cause it can cause blood clots. but you have that risk with ALL birthcontrol. the patch works just as good as any other method I mean it's still not 100% but none of it is. For what its worth it's the only method I would ever use if I was going to be on birthcontrol again

ok...ill get real with u here. i've been on the patch since february.
problems: the morning after i put the first one on, i started puking like crazy. i was miserable. Second month, i threw up once. Third month was perfect. also, if u wear tight clothing, and of course, you'll be rollin around with ur lover in the sheets, fuzz tends to get stuck around the corners. Ive learned to check its sticking completely before i put clothes on and stuff, so thats really not a problem anymore. Also, watch out. it's visable, unlike the pill. I take ballet, and once i realized that i put it 2 close to my side (i always put mine on my butt) and it could be seen under my tights. It can also be more expensive than the pill.
Good: if you're like me, I NEVER REMEMBER ANYTHING! with the patch, u only have to remember once a week, and it is just as effective! if there is a confidentiality issue, hiding 3 paper thin squares is much easier than a pill bottle. Getting sick, not being able to swallow, keep food down or whatever won't affect your ability to stay on birth control. And maybe its stupid, but i like the visible reminder, for both me and my boyfriend, that we are being responsible.
Perhaps the pill might be better for you, but despite it's problems, I like the patch.
