I've been in the same situation. That's why I no longer wear Tampons. Cups are better because you can reuse them and you won't forget they're there. You might want to check those out.

and waking up at 6. the MORNING of cheer camp, i got it.
three days later when it was over, i got off my period.
it SUCKED. bad. i have a yeast infection though, and

lol, that's kinda happend to me. When I had my period I was changing my tampon and I took it out, and then I felt another string and I took another one out. It really freaked me that that somehow happened.

this is mean of me, but i get sooo frustrated with girls who refuse to wear tampons. i used to hate them, too, but then i started wearing them, and honestly? not bad at all. a lot of the time they're waaaay less of a pain than pads. you don't have to worry that people can see you're wearing it through tight jeans or something, and it doesn't feel like you're wearing a diaper (always a plus). so come on. grow up and keep all menstrual options open.
