Great comic! The last panel made me laugh so much!
I think what he meant saying "used to be cool" is that those bands still making good work, but they're not as noticed today as the new bands. It is like Pearl Jam was the 90's Artic Monkeys, the newest thing in music. It has nothing to do with what is good music, but what is new at the time.
At least is what I think so!

I like Pearl Jam and a bunch of other classic bands. This is awesome though..that would be an epic night.

"rabid music fans"; and "this is the worst thing that has ever happened" (again) at last panel: Major Lol.

That was very good. Humourous, to a point. The story was pointless. No moral, no lesson learned, no important life values, but surprisingly grabby. Many comics I have barely finished reading because they were so boring and had no point. This was similar in style, but very enticing. It showed a great amount of relativity, according to the other comments. Overall, a very nice light read and I shall want to read more from this Author.

Wait Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and RHCP aren't cool anymore? When did that happen? ^_^ I still love those bands and a choice few others. Great comic, I remember when you use to have to wait outside in a line for tickets.
Posted by: Erika | Jun 20, 2008 at 07:47 AM
awe, that was really cute.
Posted by: Rita | Jun 19, 2008 at 04:41 PM
Awww....poor Sound Garden and Pearl Jam! XP RHCP still own face though! XD
I've never camped out for tickets before, but I stood in line for a NOFX show for over 4 hours in the middle of February. It was absolutely freezing, but I made some awesome friends!

Oh no Roxy, Molly et al. I'm sure the music you were into in your day was awesome (the 90s gave us Green Day and Dave Grohl; can't argue with that) but please don't go into the whole Kids Today Don't Listen To Real Music thing. It's dull and also not actually true.
There is more lame pop music, sure, but if you want real rock music then there is good ol' Download Festival in the UK: Lostprophets, The Offspring, Jimmy Eat World... Anyway, the good stuff is out there if you're willing to listen!
Oh yeah, and, um, awesome comic by the way *^_^*

wait. who the hell doesn't think Pearl Jam and RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS arnt cool! I LOVE THEM!
Posted by: lemonlyyy | Jun 16, 2008 at 12:10 PM
Ok, RHCP has become a little lame with Stadium Arcadium but Pearl Jam and Soundgarden are still really cool!
Posted by: Rachel Brauer | Jun 15, 2008 at 02:41 AM
hahaha nice I like
Posted by: Sarah | Jun 14, 2008 at 12:50 AM
Those bands still are cool. At least to those who like rock.
Posted by: Renee | Jun 13, 2008 at 11:36 PM
haha the last one was just like me my sister and her friend almost buying paramore tickets then having to wait till the next day lol (even though Im not going I was excioted and tickets were already sold out through to GG)

Roxie, you hit the nail on the head with your ax, man.
Hey Andrew! Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden are still badass! They have their songs on Guitar Hero and Rock Band, making them COOL enough to be to us kids born in the early nineties.
However, I can NOT nail the guitar solo on "Even Flow" on expert.
Posted by: Nona | Jun 12, 2008 at 02:47 PM
I hear ya, Roxie.
God, what I wouldn't give to go to a Lollapalooza like the ones in the '90s.
Posted by: Crystal | Jun 10, 2008 at 09:25 PM
i went to lollapalooza last year and it was maybe the best rock experience of my life
ha, i love the old seedy rocker guy in every panel
hillarious

I wish you could still camp out for tickets. The internet has made it biased towards those with faster connections. It'd be nice for that sort of commitment to be rewarded.
It makes me feel better I only go to massive shows and local gigs.
Posted by: Anna | Jun 10, 2008 at 06:12 AM
hahahaha
Posted by: dude | Jun 09, 2008 at 10:23 PM
Roxie is so right! Great music is really disappearing these days, what with hip hop and its disgusting obscenities, rap, and the AWFUL Hannah Montana. Whatever happened to great music that people wrote because they cared about it, not because they wanted to make some money?
Posted by: Molly | Jun 09, 2008 at 08:15 PM
Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, RHCP...*sigh*
Back when REAL music ruled the world.
It's a pity to see these kids nowadays worshipping crappy bands who basically owe their damn careers to these pioneers of music...and then having the gall to badmouth them.
Posted by: Roxie | Jun 09, 2008 at 07:58 PM
Ah, Andrew, you are soooooo funny!
Posted by: Kristie | Jun 09, 2008 at 07:55 PM
haha i still campout!!! and when did red hot chili peppers stop being kool?!?!?!?
Posted by: maja | Jun 09, 2008 at 07:06 PM
hey red hot chili peppers are still cool!!

Posted by: MIMI | Jun 09, 2008 at 02:33 PM

Posted by: Higgy | Jun 09, 2008 at 01:18 PM
