i was in the 13 when i started.
i didn't know what was happening either.
i pretty much normally start at school.
and so i feel nasty and go to the bathroom during break and just take toilet paper and wrap it around until i can go back to my locker to get a pad. lol. i always try to be prepaired... but sometimes.. you're just not. haha. i liked it when i had gym because i could find out easily and my gym shorts were black so no one would be able to notice. you all will hate me, but i don't get cramps... at alll. never have i had cramps. so, i'm excited about that. but next year when we have swimming, i'll have to wear a tampon. :p

I ALWAYS have pads in my purse, backpack, locker, cheering bag, everywhere! and all my friends have their period as well (we're all 13) so if i ever didnt have one they're always there for me! I've only had my period 3 times.

I was twelve when I got my first period. My Aunt was the one who gave me my first tampon and at the time I didn't know how they used. SO I stuck with pads (even though they feel like a diaper) until I found out that they have tampons that are very slim to fit you even if you haven't had sex before. But back to my story it was Christmas morning and I was at my grandmothers house when I went to the bathroom and found out that I had my period and to make things even weirder my little sister at the age of 11 had hers that christmas night.

i started when i was 11 and it was aaaaaall good and it came every month (for about 3 months)
but now its really irregular and it only comes like 3-4 times a year it lasts a week and a 1/2 to 2 weeks, with really bad cramping and a lot of blood and i have to miss school because i just have 5 mins between classes and the rooms are always real apart from eachother >.< grrr! and im always unprepared lol yes i went to the doctor but he has no idea (probably cuz its a guy)

I have ALWAYS gotten periods at the wrongest times. I just got mines this year. It was really small ad I didn't really care about it before but then June came. And my 6th grade were going to camp for a WEEK. AND then my period was like someone poured like a bucket of blood on my panties. Even though I was in a cabin with half of my friends and everday I could visit the other cabin with my other half of my friends, I also had the cabin with the most meanest annoyingest girls ever. I was so stresses out. On the 2nd day I remember crying at night. I was so mad and upset and that camp was the best camp ever. But the last 2 days I had my best days ever. Period = S-U-C-K

Hahahaha I'm the exact same. My mum is always like "are you keeping track of your period?" and I'm like "yeeeeeeeees" but I always forget to write it down. And where are you supposed to do it anyway? Write "PERIOD DAY" on your calender?

Ugh, I once got it at school (not for the first time) and I totally forgot, so I had nothing with me! I felt something a little wet in the morning and I just thought, "No big." Then after lunch I went to the bathroom and had a heart attack. It wouldn't have been so bad if I was wearing my uniform skirt, but it was gym day and I was wearing light gray sweatpants. I just pulled my shirt reallly low and said I was sick, then left. I hope no one saw...it was totally visible, but I was sitting down the whole time.

I got my period a couple of months ago ad im 13, my mum was always really open with me about this kinda stuff so I knew all about it but i seriously thought i crapped myself first time ^^ luckily I wasnt at school Im one of them people who keeps organized though so you know I dont seem to worry about it.
