Try scholarships, loans, and call the financial aid office about grants. Schools are always willing to negotiate. My school gave me a 10,000 grant the day before tuition was due AFTER i explained to them that my loan didn't go through.
College is also a great place for networking, experience, and expanding your knowledge. See I know you don't have to go to college to become a writer but it's great to learn about so many different topics and get inspired. College isn't for everyone so why don;t you try it for a semester or take courses at a community college?

poor rachel! If it helps you're also inspiring, and entertaining everyone who reads your comics.
