1. Stop fucking pirating music, it's fucking theft. The band is not stealing money from you by overcharging, the only reason they can charge that much, is because people end up being stupid enough to pay them. If you're being overcharged, it's you're own fault, no one is pointing a gun to your head and telling you you MUST by something.
2. This comic makes a great point of COURSE this stuff is overcharged, anyone who buys a $40 medallion that is neither made of precious metals or gives the wearer a blowjob deserved to be overcharged for their stupidity.

I prefer when bands and their fans make their own "merchandise" like hand painted CD covers, bracelets etc(usually local indie or underground )

Mainstream is all about advertising and making money. I don't blame the artists, they need to feed themselves. These days it's either sell out or become a starving artist. It's a sad dilemma.

You should have made put a comment in there about how the only fans that would pay $40 for a necklace they could make themselves for free were actually what made the necklaces: tools!
