I prefer when bands and their fans make their own "merchandise" like hand painted CD covers, bracelets etc(usually local indie or underground )
Mainstream is all about advertising and making money. I don't blame the artists, they need to feed themselves. These days it's either sell out or become a starving artist. It's a sad dilemma.

You should have made put a comment in there about how the only fans that would pay $40 for a necklace they could make themselves for free were actually what made the necklaces: tools!

this is soo true these stores sell things for 40 dollars and it sucks even though you love the band you should just stick to wearing a t-shirt and a pair of jeans
