I didn't like this comic. I suffer from depression and I find it offensive that this comic is just mocking it.

shut up you guys.....this is free speech.it is hard to stay depressed sometimes. just get your mind of what ever is depressing you then it will maybe stop...depression can be avoidable and poetry is good when you depession kicks in trust me i should know...but you still can have good poems with out it thou...

i know how some people didnt like it, but i think it was quite interesting. i think she was trying to say that people think most good writers were depressed and emotionally unstable and etc.. and if the girl was depressed she could be a good writer or write a good poem. i know its hard to explain, buti think that was what she was trying to do

Dont like it at all. I once had a spell of depression for about 2 months. I had to go to the hospital. Kind of mocks me to write a comic about a girl making herself "depressed" just to write some god damned poetry.....

I agree with Christinaa. I have depression, and this was just stupid. I don't try to be depressed or sad, and my best poetry has always been happy and positive.

Lol. I love it. It is hard to stay depressed when you have a good friend who makes you laugh alot. I have one of those. Sometimes, he's the one to make me depressed though. lol. That's when I write the good poems. But I totally understand what you mean.
