I just don't get why you would spend so muhc time and effort on disgusting the popular girls... I wear what i think looks cool, and i don't give a crap what other people think or wear. end of story.

ack i wish we were all nudists. We're all wasting to muhc time and effort on style.

yes, unfortunatly pple who aren't creative copy off of pple.
Whenever i do sumthin' new, pple at my skool copy it.
My friend tells me they think it's all the Privy Rage, since I used to go to Private Skool
Ahhh, pple who copy me
I hate you all

i have honestly never seen a preppy cheerleader wearing skulls...
but something like this did kinda happen to me. i started wearing knee socks a couple months ago and got soo many compliments. now everyone wears them.
I'm not upset though. I think it's kinda funny cause I'm ridiculously unpopular and get talked about a lot, so you'd think i'd be the last person who would start a trend. and i still own it cause the preps like... prepify the look by wearing it with their hollister crap. the only problem is that i KNOW i won't get credit for the trend, but that's ok cause deep down everyone will know that they copied me.

this comic makes me want a 'maggots are babies' shirt. especially because no one at my school know who rachel the great is (the fools) and they would just be like wtf?
Posted by: darrolyn | Sep 21, 2008 at 12:08 PM
I hope this doesn't happen to me. I hate people who copy. So I just get my clothes from some weird unknown sites (or make my own) and everyone gets theirs at hottopic. -_-' But ofcourse, mine's cooler. ;) haha
It always starts when an 'unpopular' kid starts something interesting, and the popular bastards get theirs at some lame store with their parents money because they're not creative enough.

Ah, yes...I remember something like this happening to me in my Middle School years.
Everyone and their uncle's dog were wearing these strange 'jelly-bracelets', and I never really liked them. Oddly enough I believe it started when the 'Unpopular Kids' started wearing them, and then some members of the 'Popular Clique' decided that they liked them so everyone followed their example. Crazy, no?
Man, I hate it when people see something and think it's cool so then everyone starts doing it. It's like they've never heard of originality! >.<
By the way, that is one adorable maggot! *o* I wanna hug ittt! *^o^*

Aw.. The maggot is so cyooot. x3
I don't care when something becomes popular with others. In fact, I'm happy when something I like becomes accepted. It's when they over do it that bothers me. Then it just gets stupid.

Maggots are BABIES!!

I understand that copycats are annoying but Olivia should stick with skulls if that's what she honestly likes. It's better to be yourself than conform. It's also better to be your self than try so hard to be different. It seemed she turned to maggots to get a reaction out of them.

I've had something similar happen to me. I used to wear goggles on my forehead all the time, then a few weeks ago I came to school and two other girls had goggles, and not only were they wearing goggles, but they were wearing them the exact same way I did!
I was infuriated. One of the girls had asked me before where I had gotten my goggles and I told her that she shouldn't get goggles because that didn't just make her unoriginal but it made me unoriginal too... its not like the whole school is doing it, but I still feel back stabbed. I don't like that girl much at all now because she didn't even listen to me.
And recently I've been wearing wigs a lot... I sure hope that doesn't become the new trend among the unpopular kids at my school.

I compleatly agree with jen! Unfourtunatly my skool has uniforms but I know for a FACT that not a single person in my skool(not even my BFF who has the same sort of style as me) would wear halve my stuff and I LOVE it

iwish you could do your own style every day

UGH. Yess. This comic deserves to be up there!
Why don't people just set their OWN trends?! Isn't it annoying when you are trying to make yourself individual? For Ex: Polka Dots...they are so killed by now. Gosh.
