Suffering from any cellulite problem should not be something that you run out and have surgery over and if you are considering doing so please make sure that you thoroughly research the risks first. Also make sure that you are going through a doctor that is board certified at what he does and always ask others who they might recommend. Cellulite can be reduced by changing some things in your life and doing things just a little bit differently.

Actually, cellulite, around the buttocks and thighs is so stubborn to get rid of, because the female body is "preserving" it for a very specific purpose.
When you train and exercise to try to reduce cellulite, the body will reduce your fat reserves -everywhere- else, and will only reduce the stored fat in the cellulite as a last resort.
The specific purpose? Breast milk.
The best way to completely eradicate cellulite is to have a baby and breast feed, or take the hormone that starts the lactation process. The body immediately processes the cellulite fat as part of the constituent of the fatty breast milk.
Case in point, my sister, and two other women I knew had typical cases of cellulite ("cottage-cheese thighs").
As soon as my sister and these women married and had their first child, the cellulite that had caused so much worry and angst in them previously, simply melted away.
I am not advocating that every woman and girl with bad cellulite immediately get pregnant (world is overpopulated as it is). However, if the cellulite you have is really, really, -really- bothering you, then I assume that it would be easy to start the lactation process, and the breast milk produced can be donated to a breast milk bank for babies that still need to be nursed.
Just some milk for thought... >:) >:P

You must train him! Cats must learn to dance. Have him watch some Tokyo Mew Mew or something.
For anyone who wants to learn more about this stuff, I just discovered this new article about it on thie site I read. It's called Cellulite: The Definitive Battle.
http://www.musclewithattitude.com/readArticle.do?id=1822550
This seems like an issue anyone can have, even men. I'm guessing the reason it shows up more in women is due to possible estrogen links as well as fat (since females tend to have higher % fat), and maybe you pay more attention to how your skin looks. One doesn't tend to see dimpling around the bikini line while wearing trunks.

I so wish my cat could play DDR with me.
Posted by: Molly | Dec 02, 2007 at 09:37 PM
I disagree, that cat is awesome. Anyway umm... I don't like cellulite. I won't hate someone for having it (hell I have some) but that doesn't mean you should like it anymore than you should like a mole or anything. It is lacking a purpose.
Posted by: Tyciol | Dec 02, 2007 at 06:36 AM
I thought it was good but she needs to stop listening to that cat he is just truble

Cool! My mom had cellulite, but it didn't "bum" her out! Pun intended! do you think Twiggy had it too? Love the comics, Rachel, and Tuna.

Dear Rachel the Great (and Tuna ;) ),
Reading your comics helped me realize and become more comfortable about myself and what I do.
Even though I'm 17... I feel that without your sweet little comics I would have gone through my awkward teenage years without seeing that almost everything I go through... is actually not that big of a deal.
Thank you for bringing your brilliant and wonderful ideas to the internet :>
I would have been so lost without these.

In reply to Tara, I think cellulites, like, where fat appears in bunches around your butt and thighs, so it causes it dimples in the non-fatty areas. Here, I'll Google it:
Cellulite: misshapen fat in one or several specific areas of the body.
