When i shave, i get razor burn and itch and stucbble. it's a pain in the butt. and waxing seems really painful. I think the only time i'll wax is if im planning to have sex.
Other then that, i just trim.

I don't care what a guy does witn his body hair, it's his choice. Girls should be giving the courtesy to have that privilege too in society's image preference in America more so. :\ It drives me nuts how many guys I know who are against girls not shaving down there and being completely smooth.
It's pubic hair for crying out loud it's down there to be a protection from germs and foreign particles, it shouldn't be viewed as un-womanly to keep it if the girls wants to.
I shaved once and it was a regret. It was horrible. Thanks for the bit about Korean guys, at least they know how to deal with something perfectly natural compared to American males.

OMG that must be so painful. I have waxed my arm pits once and that was some of the worst pain of my life. I was bleeding and my pits were red raw. It took two weeks to get better. It makes me cringe just thinking about it.

I shave. It was just too weird with hair down there. And I'm in ballet so i would be mortified if anyone saw my pubes.

why didnt she wear the bikini top in the end?
and she could have worn the shorts she was wearing in the final frame to cover up the bruises
Posted by: Rosieee | Oct 04, 2008 at 02:36 PM
bwahahaha god it is so FUNNY to read all the comments XD waxing is personal, i think you should never do it to please someone else. that's stupid. if you do it to feel comfortable with yourself that's fine. it's like, whatever. in the end, everybody does whatever he/she wants with his/her body. relax ppl.

i love this comic. :)
i have a lot of pubic hair, it extends down onto my thighs and stuff, but i never shave it all. i trim it sometimes, shave the edges.
my boyfriend doesn't care, and i'm perfectly cool with hair on boys!

Haha, I found the name of this comic to be ironic, only because where I live there IS an amusement park called Busch Gardens (Yes with a c though, look it up)

i shave my legs and bikini waxes HURT LIKE THA HELL DOWN BELOW and its rarely worth it!!!!
Posted by: kyky | Jun 22, 2008 at 06:47 PM
i hardly ever shave my legs, far less the pudendal area. trimming and bikini line for the beach is as far as my lazy self intends to go. and i happen to hate body hair on guys... yuck
Posted by: shara | Jun 19, 2008 at 08:06 PM
Lol. I like this comic & i've gone tru all other peoples' comment especially about trimming pubic area. It's so funny to read comment post about personal opinion about pubic hair. LOL
By the way, me mysel usually trim with scissors & i dont even dare to use trimmer/shaver etc. Im just too scared to do so. hehe
Posted by: Muhammad | Jun 08, 2008 at 07:32 AM
lol, the last part, *Shiver* reminds me of my old men insadents ^^ Scary

I trim and a little hair on guys don't bother me but....idk how guys feel about me...i'm a vigin so
Posted by: Allie Potts | May 27, 2008 at 08:31 PM
personally, I think that pubic hair is beautiful. I trim sometimes, but shaving, for me, is out of the questions. I find it so unnatural and unappealing. If a guy doesn't like hair, that's too damn bad for him! He's the one missing out, not me.
Posted by: sonia | May 23, 2008 at 10:06 PM
i only trim my pubic hair and i shave in the bikini line....im too scared to try waxing! i wax my under arms and its painful so i can imagine how painful it would be in the pubic area...if ur gonna wax go to a pro!
Posted by: miss shaver | May 22, 2008 at 01:50 AM
lolsz_I liked the comic a lot...
I only trim down there for special occasions ( hint_hint)...lolsz....instead of juss shaving it all off..juss trim the hair to its lowest and then shave the bikini line.....itll look pretty decent.
Posted by: Nani | Apr 23, 2008 at 07:22 PM
shaving is tolerable...I like the way "it" looks with a little maintanence, but I've never gone completely Q-Ball. A little hair looks considerably better than no hair at all.
Posted by: kay kay | Apr 18, 2008 at 07:09 PM
I actually use cream, too. but only in the bikini line. =S
And I started triming it this year, because it started getting too long. Actually, before this year I didn't even change anything down there. =P
Posted by: Rita | Apr 16, 2008 at 07:59 AM
I just trim with scissors during the summer because I don't want to make my guy friends uncomfortable. but i think pubic hair is beautiful and I love mine. I feel like a woman with it and I think shaving down there is just too painful to imagine. or wax. ehk.
Posted by: Sydney | Apr 14, 2008 at 09:05 PM
eeeew when girls are shaved down there it makes them look like children...trim by all means but a real woman has to have a bit of a muff or else it's just creepy. ugh the idea of a totally shaved girl freaks me right out.
Posted by: pineapplebob | Apr 14, 2008 at 01:23 PM
Oh and I forgot to say...I think hair is gross on guys, too. Guys should shave their legs and at least trim their pubes. :3
Oh, and definitely their armpits. Guy armpit hair grosses me out.
And their faces.
Posted by: Krista | Apr 08, 2008 at 04:33 PM
It's annoying having to shave my pubes...but honestly, I like it better not having hair. Sometimes my pubic hair gets stuck on underwear, and it's really embarassing when I'm at the beach and I have to keep adjusting my bikini so that no pubic hair shows. Plus, it is easier to clean without pubic hair. Hehehe.
But anyway, just so you know, it's five o' clock shadow, not four o' clock shadow.
Posted by: Krista | Apr 08, 2008 at 04:32 PM
Just trim to keep tidy, you don't have to wax. My bf doesn't care.
Posted by: Ally | Mar 29, 2008 at 05:40 PM
I used nair, which is hair remover cream. (Look for the bikini kind)
but then it got worse when i used the left over bits on my ARM PITS! D: It hurt really bad after and I wouldn't lift my arms for HOURS. D8
Why oh WHY are we cursed with it!
Posted by: Connor | Mar 21, 2008 at 06:13 PM
And let the guy-bashing begin, lol. Seriously, as a guy, I don't care. some girls like guys to have body hair, some don't. I'll just let it grow until I date a girl who doesn't like it, then I'll shave or whatever. Body hair used to be a big sign of masculinity, but if you look at almost all of the boxers, wrestlers, fighters, and action stars on TV, they're shaved (probably to show off their physique), so the constant reinforcement that hair equals masculinity is gone, possibly even the oposite is now occuring (The unappealing guys are always fat, balding, and HAIRY. Its like they're making a difference between sexy body hair and ugly/too much body hair.)

I have hair removal problems myself.
I don't usually shave anymore because I'm not trying to attract anyone and don't wear revealing clothing.
I used to be obsessed with hair removal and it's pretty it's pretty thick so it's hard to get rid of.I end up with stubble, and I've tried just about every hair removal product out there.
And anyways hair isn't that bad as long as you bath regularly.

I dont Understand What A Guy Would Like Im Confused?
Posted by: POP | Jan 23, 2008 at 05:14 PM
You know if you shave properly down there... Ingrown hairs aren't a large occurrence... I shave at least once every two weeks, and its at the least two months between when I get ingrown hairs, and when I do its usually only one or two at the very top, and they're easy to take care of. And as for razor burn... If you keep running water on it while you shave... Its next to non-existent. *the voice of experience*
Oh and the guy shaving bit. I know someone who HAS to shave his body hair during the summer (at least) or he gets so hot that (besides with the heat) he get's nose bleeds practically daily.
Posted by: Katie | Jan 20, 2008 at 08:02 PM
...Actually, I trim, but shave occasionally.....but you can't shave against the grain like with your legs but with it....its not so bad if you know how
Posted by: Nannie | Jan 08, 2008 at 09:35 PM
omigod people get over yourself. just because a guy shaves doesn't mean he's gay!!! some of the guys in my class shave because they think it looks better. and personally, i think it's gross when guys are all hairy and gross. xP bleh.
Posted by: Blinky :-D | Jan 04, 2008 at 02:47 PM
haha, being gay doesn't mean you aren't athletic!
Posted by: Rachel | Jan 03, 2008 at 06:20 PM
Ok,
1) Taren's friends are not gay, they could be athletes. My friends are in crew and cross country and they do it and the girls squeal over them.
2) So what if people want to shave or wax. Its our culture. Its clean and takes away smell. I'm all for professional waxing, sometimes you do things for yourself and not because guys think its hot or something.

Try professional waxing next time.
Posted by: bec | Jan 02, 2008 at 08:42 PM
Ok ,seriously, Taren your friends are either gay our are going to be gay in like a week.
Posted by: Bob | Jan 01, 2008 at 07:40 PM
eek. That'd be awful!
I get waxed professionally, but I've never had a problem. I've never tried an at home wax because I have really sensitive skin and I break out in rashes when I use chemical products. When I go pro it's only painful in the pocket. ($80 with tip? Owwch..!)
