Dear that lovely girl named Kelset:
Here's a little poem i made for you. :)
Screw your "sin"
screw your pathetic morals
Screw your bullshit
Screw your unorigional deroitory words
Screw your useless reasons
Screw your protection of children's innocence
They already say ass and shit
they've heard of sex, and they all masterbait.
They all have sexual desires, they all want a mate.
Innocence lies only in empty minds, and you cannot save them.
Who you shun makes no difference.
Screw you and your non-existant innocence.

Kelsey, that is not homosexuality at all. You are simply too simple-minded to even scratch the surface of it. You are simply afriad of anything you do not iunderstand. I'll bet you also hates jews and african americans. It's like your shouting in my ear "EWWWWW... DIFFERENCE! ME NO LIKE CHANGE!!"
You're just a pathetic bitch.
btw, i am 100% straight and very much in love with a boy, but my brother is gay and I love him and repect his dicison. Fuck you, fatass bitch.
I hope you go cry over that, stupid cunt.

i really liked this comic!
im straight and even though i think
being gay/lesbian is wrong (its bc
of my religion 2), i think that people
should be allowed to make their own
decisions and live their lives the
way they want to, and shouldn't be
treated differently because of it.
i think its incredibly rude to say that
schools dont let same sex couples into
their schools because of their reputations.
and have you ever heard of DIFFERENT RELIGIONS????? talk about offensive to
others!
BAGLY IS AWESOME!

I'm in GSA at my highschool too! i loved this story it really shows a good point of view.

I love the message this is giving.
<3
Once again, I love you Martina.
:)
And to the people who 'commented' and said it was gross, grow up, get a life, and learn some manners.
Posted by: Misha | Jun 12, 2008 at 10:21 PM
THAT IS THE MOST BS I HAVE EVER HEARD. look if u think gays, lebs,bi,trans are bad well then u can go *BEEP* yourself. and any way it's none of ur damn business. i for one am straight, but i am all for these people and they deserve to be treated like equals.thank BAGLY they rock
Posted by: Scappa5991 | May 30, 2008 at 03:15 AM
well. i am bisexual and i think that students x/spres their feelings with the people they love.
and im dating a girl named paige and shes so pretty and i love her. so anybody that thinks
thats wrong. this is 4 u. FUCK U!!!!!. people that r lesbian or bisexual wood understand what im talkin bout.

Posted by: mea | Apr 18, 2008 at 12:47 AM
I <3 BAGLY. Just to let you know, they're still active. :) My school doesn't discriminate (first public school GSA in the country, w00t! <3 ) but it's still good that they exist.
Posted by: Hippiesque | Apr 13, 2008 at 03:25 PM
i think gay/les/trans is ok because some people r like that me for 4 instance am dating a girl named Ember she is sooooooooo beautiful! in my eyes she is the <3 of my life and if u think thats wrong just talk 2 me and i will straighten u out!
Posted by: Karissa | Apr 13, 2008 at 02:42 AM
well im not gay or anything but i know some people are.
this comic might be very helpful
even though i dont agree with same sex couples i know they exist and so this comic might have helped them somehow.

stuip gay/lez is wrong
Posted by: dez | Mar 31, 2008 at 08:51 AM
I know i'm saying the same thing everyone else did- THAT'S FREAKIN' CRAZY! Why would they not let gays attend prom, they are people with feelings. So what, they're different, but they so deserve every single right everyone else gets! I vote that every one of those teachers against same sex couples at prom should go to jail- because it is against the law and it's, like, totally freakin' rude! Imagine how crushed those couples feel when they are told they can't go to, like, the most ultimate experience of highschool just because they are different. Bagly totally saved them! I'm not gay, but I am totally all for gay rights!
Posted by: Unknown | Mar 28, 2008 at 11:57 PM
well i think its sorta stupid to not let students go with the same sex because i am bisexual and i dont care what anybody else thinks
Posted by: JERRICA CONWAY | Mar 20, 2008 at 12:55 PM
I think it's quite sad not letting gay couples going to that prom, your not letting them express who they are inside! I'm not gay but I treasure all my gay friends and the only reason they probably didn't let gay couples go is that people are always scared of people who are different.
xxxx
Posted by: Cat | Mar 16, 2008 at 03:15 PM
It's ridiculous that they wouldn't let GLBT2s in. Honestly.
My school doesn't even have a prom. :P
At my last two schools I've tried to start up GSAs, but most of the teachers refuse to support it, and no students want to join. Even my gay friends won't join because they're afraid that their parents will find out and be angry. One of my friend's parents even think I made him gay. I don't understand it.
Homophobia and prejudice in general honestly makes NO sense to me.
Posted by: Kinnery | Mar 13, 2008 at 12:29 AM
where i live one of the middle schools has a ninth grade prom because they arent in the highschool so they always let them have a "prom". well, this is a public school and they wont allow same sex couples. i thought that was crazy, i know it is an issue all over the u.s. but still... its just stupid. the really messed up thing is that i go to a private catholic school. we have our homecoming in feb or march every year. we were allowed same sex couples. honestly i think it is crazy that a catholic school would allow them (where we are taught homosexuality is a sin) and a public school with no trace of religion is found will not allow them.
i praise you for this comic because i know of alot of people who dont understand that this isnt just something happening in my city, but all over. my friend john attented bagly last year. he said it was the time of his life.
this has been one of my favorite comics..
thank you.
Posted by: rebecca | Mar 12, 2008 at 12:12 PM
Wow! I can't believe schools do that. I had no idea. I agree. There needs to be more awareness obout Gay/Bi/Les/Trans (ETC) dicrimination. It shocks me how narrow-minded & stupid people are.
Posted by: Midnight | Mar 11, 2008 at 11:24 PM
I find it kind of amusing that people would be against allowing anyone who wasn't straight at prom. I say this because in my city, at two rival high schools, a transgendered male ran for prom queen, and a transgendered female ran for prom king. The transgendered male won as prom queen.

Hey!
I think BAGLY sounds pretty cool.
I'm not sure how it is in my highschool, but I hope they let lgbts in.
he organization at mine is called GLOW for gay lesbian or whatever
=)
Posted by: Miranda | Mar 11, 2008 at 08:05 PM
Amazing. :]
Really, it is.
I'm straight,
but I love all my Gay/Bi friends with all my heart.
Love is Love.
No matter who it is.

you know i think this so stupid becuz ppl how are gay, bi or even lesbian should not by put domn or even disgremantaed on now im not any of those things but still have friends that are of this part of natur and belief and they take alot of crap from ppl and they dont need to keep this stuff up.
Posted by: vanessa | Mar 11, 2008 at 06:04 PM
this was and is the most depressing comic i read. i hate seeing discrimination(SP?) still around today. it seems to me that banning ppl based on wat they beleive in should of deid out in the 50s/60s
Posted by: fine_ee1 | Mar 11, 2008 at 02:33 PM
Its a shame gay couples are so discriminated against in some schools. One of my bessies is a Bisexual but there'd be a lot of teasing from other students if she took her gf to the prom. Its silly realli ^_^ xx
Posted by: Bridie | Mar 11, 2008 at 11:53 AM
I LOVE IT!!! hehe! there's an organization i volunteer with called Ally Action that promotes equality for especially LGBT students in schools and we're havin a queer prom... im SO EXCITED!!!!! cant wait...
Posted by: Johnita | Mar 11, 2008 at 08:23 AM
I am in GSA at my own school. It's really a great organization for people like me who don't believe discrimination about what sex you are attracted to is right. The last thing we did was host a small (free) concert/game night at our school, where over 50% of our student body joined AND willingly signed our petition. ^^ BAGLY sounds very fun, and I'll tell my group about it.^^
Posted by: Tara | Mar 10, 2008 at 10:20 PM
wow, i hadn't even thought of that when i went to high school xD cool about that BAGLY thing, sounds way more fun that my boring prom lol
Posted by: noe | Mar 10, 2008 at 09:29 PM
....WOOOO HOOOOO.....AND I BET there was also PLENTY of WISKEY AND ALL SORTA KIND OF alcohol too AND MAYBE SOME WEED ASWEL ;) .....NOT because of the gay thing, but BECAUSE WAS A TEENAGES PARTY! WOO HOO LMAO
Posted by: NN | Mar 10, 2008 at 09:20 PM
Ok so at my school last year a gay couple tried to buy tickets to the prom and the people selling them wouldnt let them buy them. When my principal found out he FREAKED. We had assemblies the girls were kicked out of student senate and the prom was awesome (i heard) I was so proud to go to that school that week.
this was a great comic
Lovin it!
Posted by: Dana | Mar 10, 2008 at 08:39 PM
that's so great!
my school is extremely homophobic, they won't let same sex by tickets as a couple also. upon that, they kicked one gay couple out of prom for "being inappropriate" (kissing) while opposite-sex couples were practically dry-humping on the dance floor.
Posted by: a | Mar 10, 2008 at 07:21 PM
anyone heard of the Day of Truth???
Posted by: treesgobark | Mar 10, 2008 at 06:54 PM
uhhh, i think it's fine that schools don't let gay and lesbo couples in to their proms. it helps to keep the schools rep better. they don't care what happens outside of school, just what happens inside of it. but God cares what happens no matter where you are. be careful. :]
Posted by: treesgobark | Mar 10, 2008 at 06:52 PM
that's so freaking awesome. our school is so stupid with prom...like, if you're gay, you can bring a date to prom, but it costs you extra. like, if a straight couple buying tickets together costs $50, then a gay couple would have to pay $75. it's so stupid and i hate it. they need to change it...they're not hurting anyone by being gay. no one in my school even cares, haha.
Posted by: janet | Mar 10, 2008 at 06:23 PM
thats so cool
Posted by: lynn | Mar 10, 2008 at 04:55 PM
i love this comic... it has raised so much awareness about discrimination...i dont understand why they wouldnt let the gay and lesbian couples go to prom...i hate that gay lesbian and transgender people are always seen as less than human because of their sexual orientation they have feelings and can love someone in the same way as us straight people do... thank u martina and thank u GURL for putting this up and putting gay and lesbian people in a positive light...because even today in 2008 there are still negative images of LGBTs.
Posted by: netty | Mar 10, 2008 at 09:58 AM
sounds fun. i can't believe that schools actually DO that!! at my school, it doesn't even matter if u don't have a date, u can still go. that rule is the stupidest thing i've ever heard!
Posted by: funnybunny8 | Mar 10, 2008 at 09:30 AM
Im happy they did this because it doesnt matter who you love as long as you love them with allllllll of your heart people with the saame sex partners are normal people they do not want to be hurt because other people dont wanna be hurt either if you think this is wrong keep your thoughts to yoursellf do not try to hurt someones feeling if you think this is wrong and they know its right becuase its just wrong when you hurt ones feelings cuz you cant get your way
Posted by: Chyna | Mar 02, 2008 at 10:58 AM
Gosh, I can't believe they wouldn't let lgbt couples go to the prom together! There's no good reason not to let them go, just like there's no good reason not to let gay and lesbian couples get married!
Posted by: Allison | Feb 14, 2008 at 03:47 PM
