You wanna know what's bad? I went to high school with this girl named Heather who had a bone deformity when she was little, so she only had four toes. Total.

people tend to generally like my last name. but i had my named changed about 2 years ago now. my former last name used to be mulqueen. and growing up in grade school i was picked on because of it. they would laugh and tease me. when i was 13/14-ish i asked my mom to change my last name to her former maiden name. then around my sophomore year. i was legally known as jacque moon. :]

WELL, my last name, Cingolani, everyone messes up. It's pronounced Chingolani because when a C is next to an I in Italian, you pronounce it with a "Ch" sound. They ask me if I like to sing and one asked me if I was Chinese. But my english teacher's last name is Heiny so once a kid was like what's your name, Mrs. Butt?

Oh, just to let you know, I got the nickname "latrine" because of a misspelling. I can't remember who misspelled my last name, but they spelled it TRIEN. I hate it when people misspell my last name and got angry. When the other kids heard why they were upset, one was like "at least they didn't spell it like latrine". After that, the name stuck.

Lucky for me, kids are stupid and started calling me "tree" and "dweeb" more often than "latrine". It's not great, but I'll take it.

It always bugged me so much and people wouldn't only call me that but make fun of the many meanings... meh as you grow people get a life and actually become nicer. my last name is goetz. You pronounce it differently then how its spelled. i live in the netherlands where goed means good.So at skl people use to call me goods goods. I then taught them you say it like guts. i then got the stupiddest comments such as aah my guts are coming out, goetz help me. No guts no glory etc.
