Ok like stereotyping is horrible. Like blonde jokes I'm a brunette and I often have "blonde moments" and like people think I'm dumb. They call me a prep but i go mudding and stuff I'm the one that stops the teacher from stepping on the spider! oh well

Hey Hannah, about the whole stereotyping...I'm pretty sure that's the point.
lol, its supposed to take your average high school clique to the extremes.

Not everyone is as black and white as they appear to be in your comic. This is really stereotyping.

I agree! Everyone should listen to ska! XD
I really enjoyed this comic!
Sometimes it's nice to laugh over all the stereo-types in high school. Being as I'm already out of that Hel hole, I can see how stupid we all were back then. I was one of those 19th-century Victorian goths who watched too much anime and spent too much time looking for aliens and bigfoot myself! XP

Who needs cliques anyway? We're all different and unique so we don't really need them. It doesn't matter if you're a jock or a goth or a prep, we're all our own person.

This comic isn't trying to promote labels, it reveals how lame they are. People seem to label themselves and then feel like they have to live up to a stereotype in order to fit in with a clique. That's what the artist is trying to point out.

Alright, this comic didnt make sense to me. Maybe because its not finished. Uhm , and to the person who made this comic, do you go to chaparral high school? in las vegas? cause i go to that high school.

I also found that untrue, movies and films have made highschool seem more like a fasion runway if you like fall out boy, my chemical romance, him, your an emo, if you like nightwish and evanescence and mindless self indulgence your a goth, if you like slipknot, ac/dc, metalica, van halen, irone maiden, korn your a mettal head.
i like all these bands and many more and i also wear skinny jeans and black ballet skirts with skulls and chains and spiked collers what does that make me some form of cross, no it makes me me i no that popular people can be bimbos but not all of them. i thought you stuck to the point but only 6 out of 20 of my freinds are goth, skater or anything like that the rest slisten to cascada and stufff and theyer the best freinds ive ever had.

Contiued from the one posed below...
I listen to MCR that doesn't make me EMO.
one of my best m8s wears pink that doesn't make her a prep.
I'm pretty smart that doesn't make me a geek.
This is why I say the world dumb because most ppl belive these things.

Look this comic isn't ment to be insulting it's making a point off how dumb stereotypes are. I don't get why you two are having such a go about it.Your just reinforcing the point of how dumb this stuff is! We shouldn't need to make the point with this comic as to how stupid sterotypes are. Like what music you listen to or how you dress defines who you get to hang out with.
Posted by: Maz | Jan 05, 2008 at 11:02 AM
Honestly I thought that that was insulting. Just because you are a "popular girl" doesn't mean you're stupid, just because you don't have a specific clique doesn't mean you hate everyone, and just because you like to dress in wripped jeans and fishnets doesn't mean you are only out for attention. I know some "goths" who are honor roll cheerleaders, some jocks who are on the debate team, and girls that don't have a clique and just hang out with people they think are fun and interesting. It's things like this that give people stereotypes just because of the way they dress or what they do for fun, and it's really stupid and wrong.

the girls on 5,6 and 7 are such bitches. i hope they're not meant to represent the people without a clique, because i'm one of them and i never look at trendy people and just talk about how incredibly stupid they are, causethey're not. your style doesnt dictate your IQ score.
in short, it frustrated me.
